Digital Portfolios Training

 

Digital portfolios are the foundation of EDUCOA, capturing

all activities that will occur within the Innovation for Life

Skills framework.

 

In the first two pilot months, EDUCOA worked with

teachers and administrators extensively to set up Evernote

accounts and learn how to use Evernote by making use of

EDUCOA's 'Introduction to Evernote and Creating Digital

Portfolios,' a teacher's manual on Evernote and digital

portfolios (excerpt to the right).  

 

Teachers recieved close assistance from each of the

school’s IT teacher and the designated 

EDUCOA coordinator for the region.

 

In February 2015, the program integrated working with

students to create Evernote accounts. Guided by their teachers, students created notebooks for their academic

subjects and wrote in their Journal notebooks to practice

writing and reflection.
